Low mineral water
The two EU low-mineral label tiers, lightest first.
Criterion: Two EU/UK label tiers by mineral content (Directive 2009/54/EC, Annex III): “very low mineral content” is 50 mg/L or less and “low mineral content” is 500 mg/L or less. The law uses dry residue at 180 °C; where a brand publishes TDS instead, we show which.

Why it matters
Fewer dissolved minerals means a more neutral taste and less limescale. WHO cites taste panels rating water under 300 mg/L as excellent, though very low levels can taste flat. For the lightest waters only, see the lowest TDS list.
